Conventions of different text types
(a) writing: email, message, chat, blog,wiki, notes, articles, reports,dissertations, text message, wishing card, memo.
(b) Speech: lectures, public speaking, conversation, debate.
Example 1: letter
Sender name, receiver name, date, greeting letter boday, farewell
Example 2, dialogue:
the names of the two interlocutors or just interlocutor 1, interlocutor 2, and after this (:) and what each one says. For example:
John: Good morning.
Jane: Hi.
OR
Interlocutor 1: How much is it?
Interlocutor 2: Twelve Euros.
